I am here because I am passionate about making, sharing, and growing. Design and design research is my medium. I find creative connections to the materials and and objects we use in the our homes and everyday lives — to ways that can promote equitable and sustainable futures for urban communities.
I am currently investigating how the agency of place-based objects can promote localization of a more equitable economy through practice-based research. This work is largely taking place within pl.lab, a lab co-founded my myself and Chiara Schmitt.
Originally from Texas, I have been living in British Columbia since 2018.
