I am a Métis woman from the Métis Nation of Ontario, with ancestry from the Red River Settlement. It has been a long journey getting back to my culture and being accepted for who I am.
I have always loved designing and making creative things. I have my Bachelors of Design, Fashion & Technology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and graduated as the valedictorian of my class. I have always wanted to teach and coming here for my Masters was only natural.
I have been blessed to have a beautiful son who is 10 years old. He has inspired me to follow my dreams and design him a collection to suit his special powers – Autism.
