clipped and done.
DETAILS BY STEPS:
STEP 01: travelled to Fabricland to select a few swatches that fit Jennifer’s style. I observed her utilisation of flowery elements from scrolling through her Instagram. To develop a swatch theme, I wanted to collect a variety of flower patterns and colour combinations.
STEP 02: the sketching process: Before beginning to create the swatches, I had to plan out how I wanted them to look, whether it was through colour or patterning.
STEP 03: the sketching process: Before beginning to create the swatches, I had to plan out how I wanted them to look, whether it was through colour or patterning.
STEP 04: Finalizing all 9 swatches and ensuring sure each swatch card includes the necessary information.
STEP 5: I added clip pins so Jennifer could hang them from the wall in her studio or use them as a decoration.
CONCLUSION:
In addition to getting to know my classmates better through this activity, I also had the chance to learn something new. I’ve always thought of myself as interested in fashion, but I never gave the materials and fabrics any thought.
